Matt Wilson, the head trainer and driving force behind Wilson K9 Training, has a robust background spanning 20 years as a police officer, including nearly a decade as a police K9 handler.  Before entering law enforcement, he was a passionate educator, teaching 4th grade.

Drawing from his extensive decade-long immersion in dog training, he specializes in creating behaviors through meticulous conditioning techniques. This approach is anchored in the belief that clarity is paramount in fostering strong communication between owners and their canine companions. By making training methods straightforward and very “black and white” for the dogs, it ensures consistency and promotes effective communication between owners and their beloved pets.
